I’m surprised I haven’t written a review for this because I really, really like this product. Historically, I have never been into body or hand creams. I’m very into facial skincare but never had a particular need to extend below my neck, as my body always did a good job of self-regulating.Several years ago—probably around the beginning of the pandemic—my good fortune changed, and I began to experience issues with dry skin. (Constant washing and scrubbing does things to you.)Anyway, while I would not suggest using this for an area of the body that’s greatly lacking in moisture (i.e. this would certainly not be moisturizing enough for my sad psoriasis feet), it’s an incredibly lovely, light and aromatic lotion that my hands adore!Although there is no added fragrance, the scent of the natural oils and ingredients is really very wonderful. It’s actually one of the few skincare products that I’ve ever truly enjoyed the scent of. I actually love it, the more I think about it.(I am afflicted with an unfortunate over-sensitivity to many odors and scents. Right now, for example, I am being haunted by the occasional wafting odor of a feather pillow on my bed. After probed, multiple people insisted that the pillow has no discernible odor. So, this is a me problem, and not a goose pillow problem.)So, looking at my history, I’ve purchased this at least 4 times here. I originally found this on a website that sells a curated collection of clothing and goods, and sounds like the word “Anthology”. I bought it from there as well.What stops me from buying it even more? Well, there are some cons. The pros are obvious to me! Delicious scent! Light and refreshing texture that’s just moisturizing enough for my hands. Doesn’t cause any hives or issues on my sensitive skin. Cute packaging! 14.00 as of June 2024, which seems accessible to most. Pretty clean ingredient list!The cons? Certainly not an “all-over” body cream (excepting perhaps for a literal baby). The actual amount you receive per bottle is not enough to use as a body cream for a larger child or a full-size adult. I do not have children and only use it as an adult, but common sense dictates this wouldn’t last very long if used as an all-over cream. It is not rich enough to use sparingly. You need a healthy amount!So, given the amount they provide in the tube, if used as anything more than a hand cream, it’s really not a practical or economical purchase at all. (I don’t purchase this thinking with price in mind per se. I buy it because I really like it. But, it does irritate me that it runs out so quickly—and that is when I’m just using it as a hand cream, and not every evening.)So, I wish they would make a larger tube and raise the price point a bit, and make a slightly smaller tube and lower the price point a bit. I would love one of these for my backpack!I think that is really my only grievance: not enough cream included in tube to be used as a body cream, and not offered in different size options. I would love to use this on my legs, but it’d be impossible, as I would go through a bottle a week.I don’t know how this became so long and I’m actually pretty mad that I just wasted SO much time. But what is done is done. Conclusion is: If you want a lovely, light and perfectly naturally scented (and I really do mean this—I am craving this right now) cream for your hands, this is it!(P.S. I would not suggest this for your face. They have a product that is in an airtight pump dispenser. This one is not and I feel would not be suitable for adult facial skin. So, not sure why that is being discussed?)
